Recent research in Australia* has shown that not all kids are the same – they have different activity personalities.

The following charts outline the three distinct activity personalities for boys and four for girls. By working through the questions you can establish what activity personality your child is.

Working with researchers from the University of South Australia, Associate Professor Jeff Walkley from RMIT University has recommended physical activity for each personality. You can use these charts to help identify not only which activity personality your child is but, more importantly, how you can help them to be more active.
